Can I Call and Check on My Pet(s)? Yes, you're more than welcome to call and check in on your furry friend. That said, we recommend that you reach out to us on Facebook and send us a message there. This will allow us to send you video and picture updates. Note, you must initiate the conversation as business accounts cannot start the conversation.
When Can I Drop Off or Pick Up My Pets? Morning hours are Sunday - Saturday from 8 am - 9:30 am. Evening hours are Sunday- Saturday from 5 pm - 6:30 pm. What about holidays? Standard hours apply to all holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. Closed for drop off and pick up on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
How Much Does It Cost? A typical boarding stay for one dog is $30 per calendar day, double occupancy is $50 per calendar day, and triple occupancy is $70 per calendar day. Note, if you drop off during the evening hours, the first day is 50% off and if you pick up in the morning hours, the last day is discounted 50%. A typical boarding stay for one cat is $20 per calendar day, double occupancy is $30 per calendar day. Pricing is subject to change.
How Do I Make a Reservation? Call us at (717) 242-0236. We are happy to help you reserve a boarding stay and set up tours. You can also click on the "Pet Booking" button at the top of the website page and book your stay via our Pet Manager software. If you do not already have a login, you will have to first create one by utilizing a valid email address. Otherwise, you're also welcome to send us a message on Facebook as well.
What Kind of Vaccinations Does my Dog or Cat Need to Have? Required: RABIES (by state law). Please bring along (or send ahead via email, Facebook messenger, or USPS) proof of up-to-date vaccinations on your veterinarians' letterhead. Distemper and Parvovirus. Bordetella / Kennel Cough
What Happens if My Pet Gets Sick or Hurt While I'm Away? If it is an emergency, we will first attempt to take them to YOUR vet. If your vet is unable to see them, we will take them to VCA Metzer Animal Hospital in State College, PA as they are open 24/7. *Note, we will be in constant communication with you if we are able to reach you.
Will My Dog Be Interacting With Other Dogs? No, they will not be able to be in the same space as other dogs for safety reasons. In addition, dogs do not see other dogs (outside of the checkin and checkouts). This allows for a calm stay for your pup.
How Often Do Pets Get Fed? Our typical feeding schedule includes (2) feedings, breakfast and dinner. If your pet gets additional food time at home, such as lunch or a midday snack, we will certainly add those to their schedule while staying with us as well.
Does My Dog Get To Go Outside? How Often? Yes, of course! We have two fence in yards that we use for our daily outings. They go out 3x/day on a rotational basis. Additional outings are offered in the amenities section.
What Do I Need To Bring Along With My Dog? Along with their food items and a copy of their vaccinations (and medications if any), you are welcome to bring along toys, bones, blankets and bedding items. We like to make them as comfortable as possible with things that remind them of home! We do offer milkbone treats after each outside break.
